It is my belief that beyond treating disease, all doctors have a role in educating their patients and training their juniors. I see it as a way to give back to the community at large and to help improve understanding of ENT diseases and treatment. Below are examples of papers, book chapters, lectures and public talks I have done in the field of ENT.

Atlas of 360 Skull Base Surgery

I am fortunate to have contributed to six chapters of the Atlas of 360 Skull Base Surgery, a full colour surgical atlas which covers techniques and surgical approaches to skull base surgery, which is currently a multidisciplinary field where ENT surgeons and neurosurgeons work together to remove tumours from the base of the skull. It was published by Thieme in June 2021.

Rhinology, Otology and Skull Base Video Dissection Manuals

I am an invited moderator and tutor at the annual University Malaya Skull Base dissection workshops, run by my mentor, Professor Dato Dr. Prepageran Narayanan. During these workshops we train future specialists and subspecialists via comprehensive cadaveric dissection on the anatomy of the nose, sinuses, ears and skull base to ensure safe surgery.
